Papua New Guinea - New Adventures In Paradise

Some of the highlights include:

Passengers will depart Cairns in North Star's Dash 8 aircraft and join the vessel in Alotau.

We will spend the first day or so cruising the Island Province - classic south pacific vista, snorkeling, fishing and cultural activities before returning to the main island to experience the beautiful lagoon areas of Tufi.

After an overnight cruise - we will explore the south coast of New Britain - lots of big river systems here, dense jungle experiences, exposure to local living with black bass and barramundi fishing a highlight! We overnight at Duke of York island - more snorkeling/diving and local village experiences.

Arrangements at Rabaul will include helicopter flights over the active volcano and the devastated town site. We will also visit World War II sites and other local attractions before rejoining our aircraft for a short flight to Madang.

Overnight in the best resort in Papua New Guinea - it is really quite spectacular, with the waves lapping under your verandah!

The next day your aircraft stops over in the highland town of Goroka for the 'mud men' dancing before returning to Cairns.
