The 2005 Western Australian Industry and Export Awards presentation dinner was held on Friday 14th October 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Perth. The awards acknowledge the innovation, hard work and success of businesses large and small, in reaching new markets.

Mark Stothard, Director, North Star Cruises Australia was present to receive the award and acknowledged that the companies export success had been boosted by the introduction of a brand new destination - Papua New Guinea.

North Star Cruises Australia, along with other Western Australian category award winners, including Rio Tinto Iron Ore Pty Ltd, will represent the state as national award contenders in the Australian Export Awards, to be announced on the 1st December 2005, at the Sydney Convention Centre.
