Latest news | Adventure Cruise UPdate # 4

In this update:

  1. Over the Top cruise a winner.
  2. Cabins still available for PNG 08!
  3. A VERY UNIQUE opportunity to experience SYDNEY!

  1. Over the Top cruise a winner.

North Star’s decision to split the Over the Top cruise has created a lot of interest however most guests are continuing to book the entire cruise!

Always trumpeted as “two cruises in one” guests can now join the True North in Darwin for a week of ‘Top End’ experiences or, they can come aboard at Thursday Island for a week on the Great Barrier Reef! The first week onboard features North Star’s naturalist Andre Bobojcov whilst our marine biologist, Dr Andy Lewis, will unlock the secrets of the Barrier Reef during the second week. It seems that most are keen to spend time with both Andre and Andy as the option to stay onboard from Darwin to Cairns continues to be most popular. For more information see:

  1. Cabins still available for PNG 08!

North Star’s adventure partners have advised that there are still cabins available for this year’s PNG season! The first Adventures in Paradise cruise departs Cairns on November 8 and there is still opportunity to join the Archipelago Adventure which departs Cairns on December 6. Both cruise options will feature marine biologist Dr Andy Lewis. See:

  1. A VERY UNIQUE opportunity to experience SYDNEY.

No hotels, no hire cars, no taxis and heaps of entertainment and fine dining thrown in for good measure! That’s North Star’s Sydney Rocks cruise!

It has always been difficult to find a reasonable per night rate in Sydney over the Christmas/New Year period – and if you can, don’t expect to secure a booking for less than 5 nights! That is unless you choose one of North Star’s Sydney Rocks cruises!

The cruise is a three night ALL INCLUSIVE Sydney experience that starts at rates much less than a city hotel! Guests can also use their previous guest status to largely re-coup the cost of a Sydney Rocks cruise when they book a longer-duration cruise. For more information see:
